yeah aslong as you file it now because in two years or something like that were it happened two years ago theres is going to be nothing that you can do. the 14yr old will be charged as an adult but wont be punished to the fullest do to his age, like it will be but on his record but he is not going to get that much penalty

Surely you know state laws vary. In Florida this is a capital crime with a child hat young and there is no statute of limitations. But there must be some type of proof. How old is the child now? If she is in a relationship with him and is of legal age it will be hard to prove sexual abuse.

Well the problem here is that he was a minor 2 and he was not "consent" to know what the hell he was doing! But there is a law name as " romeo and Juliet " that plead guilty the Minor’s for having sex…………… There are not evidence for what he done to you but what you can do is make an appointment to a psychology/counselor and he/she would evaluate you and he/she would definitely contact the police. But i don’t think that you should do that punish him in that way you would destroy his life. I know is bad what happened to you but you have to forgive to be happy! believe me being in court is not easy you get stress!

EDIT

Wait, he’s continue doing this???? prosecute him!!! a good good recomendation!! RECORD him.. is the best evidence you can use

I don't know about the criminal prosecution, but the statute of limitations on claims held by a minor are tolled until a year after the child reaches the age of majority. So if the abused "child" is not yet 18 years of age, he or she can still sue the b@stard!

Im almost certain justice can still be served but wait for someone with expertise in the area to answer and if you have physical evidence such as a recording or fluid then it makes your case against the accused stronger. I would say wait for another answer i am not familiar within this area.

really should have taken the child to the doctor for a rape kit, at least see a counselor and see what can be done

Oh yeah. Big time. You need to contact your local authorities. They should be able to take over from there. I’m sorry that this happened to someone close to you!

** In regards to him denying the allegations – I’ve been told that the child is almost always taken more seriously than the perpetrator. She should have a good chance at fighting it as long as she talks.
