Priest Abuse and Clergy Sexual Abuse Information

A Bay area man has been cleared of all charges. Dean Tong — a Forensic Trial Consultant and nationally recognized expert on false allegations — was arrested locked-up in the Orient County Jail on probable cause in January. The incident involved his wife, from whom he was estranged from at the time. Public Records show Tong was formally charged by the State Attorneys Office on March 12 with misdemeanor Domestic Violence and tampering with Lily Tong — a felony charge.

The charges were formally dropped in early July 2008 when Lily Tong was forced to waive prosecution on July 1 — which she did — or answer to her deposition July 2. The arresting officer also failed to show for his deposition.
