Priest Abuse and Clergy Sexual Abuse Information

The fact is, children have a MUCH higher chance of getting molested by teachers or coaches. So why do people spread this myth as the truth?

In 9 years, 290,000 children have been molested by teachers and coaches.
According to the US department of Education, nearly TEN PERCENT of students were targets of "sexual attention" from employees.

Now for the priests.

11,000 allegatons of sexual abuse over FIFTY TWO YEARS.

It seems to me like this has been greatly over-exxagerated to the point of becoming a truth. "Priests molest Children" may be true, but according to the facts, I would MUCh rather my child in the care of a priest than a teacher.

So people calim "yeah, but the Church covered it up". Not to excuse what they did, as it was wrong, but so did the schools.

Shouldn’t the rate of molestation for EVERYONE be zero? Why concentrate on priests?

Good question! Some people will say anything to discredit Christianity, including lies. It’s obvious those people have no interest in the well being of children. The intent is to mock and hurt Christians. They don’t even realize most Christians were outraged by what happened and the cover-up. We are always outraged when children are abused.
