I honestly don’t believe the corruption and abuse of power I experienced has anything to do with who I love, or how I vote. That seems rather silly, and pretty medieval don’t you think? Besides, isn’t that why I choose to live and pay taxes in the US, land of the free!

I don’t remotely consider who you love or who you are in relationship with an issue or cause for concern. Unless of course you are involved with a pedophile or rapist, which seems to be more of a dominate problem in the Catholic Church rather than Jewish Lesbian Teachers.

This issue in my film is clearly about the blatant abuse of power in the Catholic Church, one of THE most corrupt, evil empires in the history of the world.

MM (cont): Anyway, the point I’m trying to make is perhaps you were let go because you were flaunting your “queer” “identity” a bit too much. Perhaps the other gay teachers at the school are a bit more discrete. If you made it known to your students that you are gay and that you see nothing wrong with it, then you were countering the moral message the school is trying to present.

I live in the San Francisco Bay Area where being queer puts me in the voting majority.

I moved here because who I love has nothing to do with what kind of person, or teacher I am. Being queer is not the point of this film.

Being a hypocrite and self serving megalomaniac who rules like a tyrant, unchecked by a corrupt system that fosters this kind of leadership is the point.

I find it disgusting for anyone to preach the gospel or “love and Jesus”, then behave in such a loathsome and evil manner.

Well MM, if you are in fact a “left wing dyke” as you put it, isn’t it pretty obvious why the principle would want you out? The left wing part is one thing, but if you were trying to pass off your sexual issues as normal behavior to your students she had no choice. The Church teaches that homosexual behavior is sinful. For a Catholic school teacher to imply otherwise with her example is bad for the kids.
