Personally I find it kind of distasteful.

You have to idea what harm has come to those children. My mother was a rape victim almost 40 years ago and still can’t look at the person who did that to her.

Frankly, you can do what you want. I only hope that no victims are nearby.

In England, they like to have what they call "bad taste parties".

My friend went as Britney Spears, complete with shaved head. She carried a baby doll around by the foot and drank Jack Daniels out of the bottle.
People like to dress up as all sorts of offensive things, so in that context, I’d say your costume would be appreciated.

But if you’re planning on trick-or-treating with your toddler-age nephew or something . . . well, save it for your friends, I would advise. It’s pretty offensive, and it all depends on your audience.

yes, i'd probably find it offensive (but please describe how a catholic priest looks compared to a catholic priest that abuses children??)

yes it would be offensive but that doesn't mean it shouldn't be worn. You have a right to be offensive. And people have a right to be offended. The constitution never implies freedom from being offended.

Depends how many kids are around. Last halloween I drove around a rich area and my brother and friend yelled profanity at little children, so more the marrier

I would find it offensive.
It’s making light of a serious problem. Kind of like dressing up like a stereotypical "terrorist" and yelling threats, or dressing up as a Klan member and threatening people.

Wear what you want to your own party with your own friends. I’ve seen worse, but its up to the individual.
P.S. Do you find my costume with an alien head and orange jumpsuit that says illegal alien offensive?
