In all three examples you cited, God is testing someone's belief - and the one being tested PASSES the test of Faith. What's disturbing about that?
References :
Don't be silly. That is like saying that just because Jack Kennedy and Bill Clinton could not keep their zippers shut that all Democrats are adulterers.

Abraham was indeed asked to kill Isaac, but there was no danger. He was never expected to go through with it. The whole story is a foretelling or prophesy for the coming of Christ. In the end, God stopped Abraham.

God allowed Satan to kill Job's kids. But it was not God who killed them. He allowed Job to be tested so that we could learn the true power of faith and obedience. In the end, God restored to Job many times what was taken from him.

God did not sacrifice Jesus. Jesus allowed Himself to be killed by the Romans to pay a price that we are incapable of paying. It was the only way to save us from eternal damnation.

Personally, I find the trend of God bending over backwards to save us from ourselves a very comforting trend.
