No!

It is not necessary and it is a prohibition from traditional Judaism's perspective to "follow code of conduct of Torah" "for the clergy to live as bachelor ?"

"Clergy" in Judaism are known as "Rabbi" (Teacher). "Clergy" are educated in Torah Law and Jewish Custumes. "Clergy" in Judaism are not of different "holiness" than non-"Clergy" Jewish people.

i think all clergy men should get married and have children maybe this way children won't be molested and i agree with you about people turning away from God due their 'misconduct'

No. There's a Scripture that says, "For if they cannot contain (couples who love one another enough), let them MARRY. For it is better to marry than to BURN." There is nothing in this verse preventing clergy from marriage if God is behind the relationship.

But they would lose their mystique, essential for one who makes God every Sunday morning.

The Catholic Church thinks so. The theory is that if they aren't distracted by the demands of a marriage and/or kids, they will have more time and energy to devote to their job.

Other denominations disagree.

IMHO, it doesn't matter, because also IMHO, anybody who wants to be clergy has got bigger problems than being married or being single.

Paul was the one who had the warped outlook on sex. Personally I think Jesus probably got laid but didn't brag about it. The spread of atheism isn't due to the clergy. Its due to the fact that there isn't a god and that some people are waking up to the fact.

the bible tells us for a preacher bishop to be a husband of one wife that means marriage . IT also says its better to merry than burn . if you canty live without sex its better to merry man and weman the bible said adam and eve not adam and steve

Unfortunately some churches, especially the protestant ones choose to cover it up and defend their repulsive Pastors. The Proties don't seem very upset about child abuse. Its pathetic that they have chosen to cover up and sweep under the carpet the problem of pastors who abuse children and even thwart criminal investigations, arrests and proceedings against such 'Ministers of God'
